A new era and collection for Maiden Home starts with returning to its artisanal roots.

Small air bubbles glitter inside an asymmetrical smoke-colored glass slab that sits atop a black steelbase. This coffee table is part of Maiden Home’s Rene Collection, which also includes a side table, and a drink table. The collection’s debut coincides with the announcement of Maiden Home’s new Miami flagship store, which is set to open this summer in the city’s burgeoning design district.
A favorite among interior designers, the New York-based furniture brand is known for its sleek, sculptural pieces, like the Dune sectional, Laight chair, and Wythe, all made in collaboration with family-owned workshops predominantly in North Carolina, a state with historic roots in furniture manufacturing. Though it began as a purely online operation in 2017, Maiden Home quickly found its footing with a 4,100-square-foot showroom that opened in 2023 in New York’s Meatpacking District, offering personalized design consultations and the ability to see craftsmanship up close. Soon there were showrooms across Los Angeles and Miami.

The furniture brand’s latest trio of tables emphasizes the importance of American craftsmanship, with designs conceived in New York, tops molded by glass artisans in Chicago, and rolled bases shaped by metalworkers in North Carolina. Maiden Home has built a name for itself with natural materials, like steel, glass, mahogany, leather, and mohair, sourced from around the globe, with objects made-to-order to eliminate waste. The Rene Collection reaffirms the brand’s dedication to timeless materials and craft.
