Inaugurating a series of four, intimate culinary-to-community social experiences around the country in collaboration with CHANDON, Family Style debuted its first Heart of Hosting dinner this summer at the winery's brand home in Napa Valley. Founder and Editor-in-Chief Joshua Glass journeyed to the west coast capital of food and wine with a group of friends both new and old—including personality CeCe Vu, model and fashion designer Adrianne Ho, design aficionado turned restaurant founder Olivia Lopez, and stylist and boutique owner Madeline Shields—at the massive estate, which has recently been transformed from its original 1970s design into a verdant oasis surrounded by nature and wildlife. Like any good social affair, the company originated from varied backgrounds for the common goal of coming together around the dinner table. But before that could happen, guests were treated to an interactive tour of the sprawling estate. As they strolled through the various gardens, terraces, and sprawling acres of the domaine sipping on a selection of CHANDON's finest, the conversations were as free flowing as the pours of bubbly. Finally, at the center of the vineyard at the center of American winemaking, the evening culminated as the group sat down for a private dinner with a CHANDON wine-led menu in which many of the herbs and produce featured were grown on property. Talk about eating local.
